It arises primarily due to fear of the unknown and\/or a reluctance to change.<\/p><p>Resistance management helps to systematically address these concerns by identifying points of resistance and types of resistors and developing strategies to address concerns.\u00a0\u00a0 Resistance management activities can be:<\/p><ul><li><b>Preventative<\/b>: for example sponsorship, engagement and communication plans as outlined above and embedding change management best practices and knowledgeable change professionals\/practitioners.<\/li><li><b>Proactive<\/b>: identifying likely audiences or individuals that may feel negatively impacted by the change and implement proactive measures to increase engagement and address concerns<\/li><li><strong>Reactive:<\/strong> responding to resistance as they arise.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-de22dfa\" data-id=\"de22dfa\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-91690f7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"91690f7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<style>\/*! address (see resistance log template below)<\/li><li>Continue to monitor resistance and where applicable escalate for issues to be resolved<\/li><li>Discuss or report on resistance and how it is being
