Chapter 3 – Understand the Change Overview

It is important to have a clear understanding of the implications of change on stakeholders. This knowledge helps to determine how to respond to and plan mitigating strategies that positively impact the programme, project or initiative on individuals, groups and the organisation.  

At the end of this step in the change process, the project should be able to clarify the nature and magnitude of the change on roles and behaviours, processes, technology and policy.
