Steps 1-3 of the change management framework focus on creating clarity and alignment around the reason for change, its scale, nature and benefits. In step 4, this information is brought together to create the strategy and plan for change. Creating an approach and strategy to respond to and proactively manage the impacts of change will determine how successfully stakeholders are managed and help to embed the change.
At the end of this step in the change process, the project will have developed a change strategy that reflects the project context, assessed the organisation’s readiness for change and, developed a training strategy and plan to equip individuals to work in new ways.
